Why this page exists
Karla's Love Foundation is a 501(c)(3) (under fiscal sponsorship today, standalone soon). Families served are always free at the point of use. That is non-negotiable — the Sacred Covenant binds it. A grieving family never sees a price.
The work is funded by people whose love overflows toward the next family, by foundation grants, and by partners (hospices, schools, employers, faith communities) who pay so families don't.
If you want to give, this is where it goes. Every gift is tax-deductible under our fiscal sponsor's 501(c)(3) status. Every dollar over $1,000 is hash-chain audit-logged on the Trust Dashboard. The foundation cannot, structurally, ever issue equity to anyone.

How your gift is held
- Donations are processed by Stripe in non-profit mode under the fiscal sponsor's 501(c)(3) account. You receive a tax-deductible receipt.
- Every gift over $1,000 is hash-chain audit-logged and visible on the Trust Dashboard.
- The foundation cannot issue equity, options, or profit-sharing to anyone — founder, staff, council, donor, partner, or sponsor. This is Charter-binding.
- Founder compensation is set by the Steward Council, benchmarked to comparable non-profit ED roles, and disclosed annually on the Form 990.
